About Rushmore

Great businesses have great stories. Most of them are buried.

The client you saved. The problem you solved when everyone else said no. The reason you started this thing in the first place.

That stuff? That's your best marketing. We just help you say it out loud.

We're Rushmore — a video-first studio in Northern Virginia. We find the human moments inside your business and build everything around what happens when someone hits play.

The origin story

Rushmore started with a phone call.

Years ago, someone trying to describe what we do skipped past 'video' and 'photography' and landed on something better: we're storytellers who happen to be really good with a camera.

That named the job exactly. The work was never about the gear — it's about finding the story hiding inside something ordinary and telling it so people actually feel it. So we built Rushmore around that one idea: spot what you've stopped noticing, point a camera at it, and hit record.

Meet the idea

Stories are everywhere. We've chased them across five continents.

Kilimanjaro's summit. The Amazon. The ruins at Ephesus and across Greece. Antigua, Guatemala. Moldova. The chaos of Super Bowl radio row. We don't say 'stories are everywhere' because it's a nice line — we say it because we keep going to find them.

What we believe (and won't shut up about)

01

Stories are everywhere.

You're underestimating what you already have. It's not in your mission statement — it's in the client call that changed how you work, the failure that made you better, the thing your team does that nobody else does. Our job is to find it, name it, and make people feel it.

02

Humor is a Trojan horse.

Funny disarms people. Disarmed people actually listen — and then they remember you. That's not a gimmick. That's the whole trick.

03

We don't speak fluent jargon.

You'll never catch us saying "synergy" or "omnichannel ideation." We make video that makes people feel something. That's the pitch.

A quick gut check before we work together.

We're probably not your people if…

You want 47 slides of strategy and zero actual footage.

"Make it go viral" is the entire brief.

You'd rather sound like everyone else than say something true.

We're exactly your people if…

You've got a real story and you're tired of hiding it behind stock photos.

You want marketing that feels like a short film, not a billboard.

You believe a well-timed laugh beats a hundred bullet points. (Same.)

The team is one. The bench is deep.

We run lean on purpose — one full-time studio with a deep bench. That's the model, not a confession.

Founder & Director

A storyteller who happens to be handy with a camera. Hasn't met a problem a good story couldn't dent.

We keep it small. On purpose.

When a project needs a second shooter, an editor, or a colorist, we bring in people we've worked with and trust — picked for your story, not whoever was on payroll. You work with us directly, never handed to a junior, and the crew packs up when the job's done. No bloat, no bench-warmers on the invoice.
